Playtestr v0.4.0-rc.3#
Published and verified as a prerelease. Stable v0.1.0 remains unchanged.
The shipping source is 07b304bb32aab9d064e7109733c244ab91766899, built once per
native host with Go 1.26.0. Publication used those exact qualified archives without rebuilding.
This version corrects selected East Asian Wide/Fullwidth two-column terminal cells, including cursor movement, overwrite/erase, wrapping, split UTF-8, resize and alternate-screen behavior. Spec/report v1 and opt-in v2 remain unchanged.
All three native public archives and checksum files matched the qualified bytes.

Install beside the previous binary, verify its adjacent SHA-256 and exact
playtestr v0.4.0-rc.3 version before changing PATH. Go is not required to run
the download. Targets and runtimes remain separate prerequisites. See
migration and rollback

That action pin is independent of the runner version. Native public distribution and upgrade checks and binary-only installation passed. Archive fallback remains supported. Exact hashes and qualification/publication evidence record the current status. Older releases/tags/assets and historical failures are immutable.
CJK baseline changes require individual review against target state and actual terminal columns; three television snapshots were explicitly migrated in source. Combining clusters, variation selectors, emoji/ZWJ, ambiguous-width settings and terminal-query-dependent tasks remain excluded. Exact task/version/host results are not a universal framework or Unicode guarantee. Human screen-reader usability, independent adoption and human effort remain unknown. Trusted target execution is not a sandbox; documented process-group/Job Object escape limits remain. No website deployment, outreach or marketing accompanies this release.
Qualification accepted 3,000/3,000 selected first attempts, the existing 120-workflow corpus with 15 controls and recoveries, and native fidelity/lifecycle gates. GitUI/television repetitions are previously used regression definitions, not unseen holdouts. Archive READMEs preserve the frozen source snapshot; use these versioned instructions for rc.3 installation. Published archive bytes were not substituted.
