The first stable standalone runner for deterministic end-to-end tests of trusted interactive CLIs and TUIs. Published 12 September 2026 with native archives for Linux x86-64, Apple silicon macOS, and Windows x86-64.

Current prerelease#

Playtestr v0.4.0-rc.3 #

The selected two-column wide-character repair preserves v1/v2 formats and passed fresh exact-byte qualification plus native public archive/action/upgrade checks. Stable v0.1.0 stays unchanged; combining clusters, emoji/ZWJ and terminal queries remain excluded. See its release record for exact hashes, first attempts and limits.

Earlier prerelease#

Playtestr v0.4.0-rc.2 #

Bounded installer reads, Linux final-drain optimization and macOS final-output preservation. Its immutable files remain historical; the selected CJK repair ships in rc.3.

Playtestr v0.4.0-rc.1 #

Adds opt-in fresh workspaces and versioned mixed-suite reports. Its qualified archives are published unchanged, and immutable setup-action revision 1c03904075512e67f53b0c94a13daa17f0383f1d passed public installation, public-byte behavior, and old-to-new upgrade verification on all three native hosts. This prerelease does not replace the stable download channel.

Published tags and assets are never overwritten. Release-candidate records remain available with their verification evidence.
